Innovation, management and strategic vision for religious bodies

From May 19 to 21, 2026, Magister participated in the 117th National Conference of the CNEC - National Center for Community Economers, titled “Guardians of the Charisma, Builders of the Future”, hosted at Villa Aurelia in Rome.

The event represents one of the most important events for the bursars of Italian religious institutes and addressed, in this edition, the theme of the role of the bursar between canon law, proper law and civil law. A discussion aimed at providing concrete tools to face the organisational, economic and technological challenges that involve religious bodies today.

Magister alongside the Bursars

Magister took part in the work of the conference as a company affiliated with the National Center for Community Economies, actively contributing to the in-depth moments dedicated to the digitalisation of processes and management innovation.

The workshop on May 19th

The workshop took place on the inaugural day of May 19th:

“Magister: from daily operations to the strategic vision of the economist”

During the meeting, Gabriele Torresan and Paolo Salami illustrated how digital tools can support bursars both in the daily management of administrative activities and in the strategic control of organizations.

The intervention highlighted the importance of integrated solutions capable of improving:

  • administrative monitoring,
  • documentary traceability,
  • and decision support.

Focus on the management of real estate assets

Magister was also the protagonist on May 20th during the application laboratory dedicated to the management of the real estate assets of religious bodies.

The speech by Gabriele Torresan, together with the technical consultants of CNEC, explored the role of digital platforms in supporting:

  • to compliance,
  • to document organization,
  • to integrated asset management,
  • and decision-making processes.

A moment particularly appreciated for the concrete and operational approach aimed at the daily needs of religious bodies.

Technology, sustainability and administrative responsibility

During the conference, some key themes emerged that are destined to guide the future of religious bodies:

  • sustainability,
  • welfare,
  • artificial intelligence,
  • asset management,
  • balance between charisma and administrative responsibility.

In this context, Magister confirmed its commitment to putting technology at the service of people and organizations, developing tools designed to:

  • simplify processes,
  • improve management control,
  • encourage quicker and more effective decisions.

An opportunity for comparison and growth

Participation in the CNEC Conference represents for Magister an important opportunity for dialogue and discussion with the bursars and professionals who accompany religious bodies in the challenges of the present and in the construction of the future.

An experience that confirms the value of collaboration between administrative skills, digital innovation and strategic vision.
